Cafe

The cafe is open all year round for 5 to 7 days from November through to the end of April, inviting guests to wine and dine under the Central Otago sun. From May to October we will be open from Thursday to Sunday encouraging guests to enjoy the ambience of the roaring fires, as well as the sunny, blue sky wintery days.  From November we are open for five days, Thursday to Sunday, 9:00am to 3:00ish, but from December we are open Monday to Sunday, 9:00am to 3:00ish with the exception of Saturdays when we are closed for weddings and other private functions.

Choose to relax in our beautifully landscaped courtyard or inside the warm and cosy cafe.

Enjoy platters paired with locally produced wine, savoury muffins and cakes with a well-brewed Allpress coffee, and indulge in gourmet toasted sandwiches along with other delightful lunch options.

Guests are welcome to wander through the large macrocarpa maze or explore the gardens at their leisure.

Please note that the cafe will be closed when the function centre is booked, but we will keep you updated on the cafe’s opening and closing times via the Orchard Garden Facebook and Instagram pages.
